Britain's Got Talent star Bailey McConnell has been announced as ambassador for YoungMinds, a charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.

The singer has written and released a new song, Crystalise, which sees him open up about his battle with depression in the hope that his words will encourage young people with the same problems to seek help. Lucie Russell, Director of Campaigns at YoungMinds, commented 'We are proud that Bailey is a YoungMinds Ambassador, and support his powerful message that every young person has a 'beautiful story' and is special'.
